The Holiday – the film

So the water has been off at my house – again this morning. I found out after a thirty minute workout on my machine…!! No going anywhere this morning – unless I want to smell like a gym locker room…..

So it has been a good excuse to practice…and then watch a film.

What better film to watch on the first day of a holiday than "The Holiday"? – a feel good romance with not one happy ending but TWO! Watching it, I felt like one leading man who said – "A good book, a great film, a birthday card, I weep… I’m a major weeper".

image So it is a good feeling to watch people falling in love. This may be a chick-flick type movie, but there is nothing wrong with that. It appeals to my sometimes well-hidden sense of the romantic  – which may be hidden by cynicism.

A good – if enforced – start to the holiday!  🙂
